This was in the 1950's when testing and development was occurring with the goal to reach the moon.The Author takes us from the beginning of aviation to the future. Exciting personal antidotes that leave you on the edge of your seat. Not all were happy endings. I couldn't put the book down. Excellent Read.. Definitely a good read and worth the time Overall it was a very interesting book written from a point of view you don't get to hear from often. Definitely a good read and worth the time. My only problem with it was the amount of printing mistakes in the book that at times made it tough to get through. Quite a few spelling errors, grammar errors or even repeating paragraphs. Other than that, it was a good read for anyone interested in the evolution of aviation seen through the eyes of someone who experienced much of it first hand..
