A little disappointing, but a good read nevertheless. TurnipHead I've read most of Roux's other works and was, therefore, quite prepared for the style that I generally associate with her writing. Simple plot-lines that I can usually pick very early on but stunning characterisation that really gives the plot a depth and makes it a good read.The Gravedigger's Brawl was in some ways a disappointment because fo. "Romance Accompanied by Chills and Thrills" according to Sophia Rose. When I think of a story with atmosphere, this would be one of them. While on one level it is a good ol' satisfying ghost story reading experience that gave me goosebumps and seeing things move out of the corner of my eye, it is also a suspenseful 'cat and mouse' thriller and romance all rolled up into one. And just as an aside might I add that. octobercountry said Spooky. Ah, I always enjoy a good spooky story, and this one provided a few genuine chills as the best ghost stories should. Though, it should be noted that the book in no way would be classified as "horror"---the eerie atmosphere, while effective, is still on the mild side and well balanced by the growing relationship between Wyatt and Ash.The pair o
