Mending Defects is a fantasic read with some beautiful humour and the odd scene that might bring a tear to your eye (yeah, so I'm a big cry-baby!).The cast of characters is wonderful and diverse, and Galli has interwoven their stories perfectly. I've read two other books by Lynn Galli, and this novel was just as fabulous as the others. Galli's novels always have a way of making you laugh one moment, gushing the next. The main character is sarcastic, witty, and so loveable in that stubborn, difficult way. If you've ever looked at the Q&A on the author's website, you can definitely see some of her personality in her characters. I wish I could meet her in person.
