After 25 years on the outside and 3 marriages, Bob finally went into recovery from his addictions and unhealthy behaviors. He learned to read at age 58, was named one of ten Outstanding Adult Students of the Year in Pennsylvania in 1997 at age 62, and earned his high school diploma at age 68. Despite the many adversities is his life, Bob always maintained a wonderful sense of humor. He suffered from learning disabilities that made it impossible to succeed in school. Some may make them angry. The eventual acting out that resulted from these experiences led to a 5-year prison term. In his recovery he served as a role model for hundreds of men and women in his community, in his church, and in his family. But many will certainly make them laugh.. Great Story This book is useful for anyone with an alcoholic in their lives. It is part biography as it relates the dismal childhood of Bob Sevey, his collapse into addiction, his time in prison, and his eventual move toward recovery.
