DESCRIPTION:

Survial and Love Jessica I have to say this is one of my favorite books that Jerry Cole has written. I couldn't stop reading the book. I have to say that I was surprised throughout this book, and that says a lot. Very few books leave me surprised. You have Daniel who hates his job and ends up having to go on a Company retreat. Where he meets the trail guide Asher. Daniel doesn't like being around people so this is difficult for him. Asher keeps "picking". "A Journey Worth Taking" according to Laurie. I often see a book as a journey. For me, this was a great journey. Although, let me say right away, I was a bit put off by the strength of animosity between the MC. I would have liked Daniel to be a tiny bit more self aware a tiny bit earlier. But that was it for complaints.Much of the book was a blend of prose and poetry. Really, some of it was so descriptive and well written, I forgot the romance and was caught up in the locati. "This is a great read. Highly recommended." according to Sydney guy. This is the fifth Jerry Cole novel I have purchased and read in the last six months. With Hard Rock Mountain being my favourite one so far. I know, that as a gay man, that I am not a part of the largest group of readers for this type of novel. But I really enjoyed this one. I thought the character development was well done, and the story seemed to flow naturally. In fact, I was quite surprised by the twists and turns in the story

Does not end with a "cliffhanger".. Asher is convinced Daniel is gay despite Daniel’s adamant denials, and seems to delight in seeing Daniel flustered. As they struggle to survive bears, blizzards, and worse, Daniel feels the spark between them growing into the flame of a love that could change his life. The Colorado Rockies are a beautiful place to start a relationship, but that’s not what office worker Daniel Carter has in mind when he’s forced to attend a company retreat to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Novella, approx. Daniel is certain he can just ignore it until the end of the retreat, when a rafting trip goes dangerously wrong and he finds himself stranded in the wilderness with only Asher to rely on. Even if Daniel can come to terms with his feelings, rough and tumble Asher isn’t the type to settle down, and even if they find their way out of the wilderness, they may not be out of the woods yet. 50,000 words in length. HEA (happy ever after ending). In a battle between love and survival, Daniel must make a choice that will redefine him, one way or another… Please Note: This book contains Adult Language & Steamy Adult Activities, it is intended for 18+ Adults Only. Especially not once he meets the handsome, roguish trail guide Asher Price
