A unique, brilliant mind. Buy this book. Steven Skov Holt was one of the most brilliant minds and caring hearts looking at how design has the power to impact our lives. His recent, untimely passing means there will be no more books from him (though I hope some of his writing will be published posthumously). I cannot recommend strongly enough that people take advantage of this opportunity now to own some of his ideas and his unique way of seeing the world. I softened. I succumbed. Having made my emotional choice I rationalised that this bubble-ish, bun-ish, egg-ish form was most logical for enclosing and perambulating human beings. From that moment all other car bodies in my price range looked uptight, try-hard and boringly predictable. I bought my Mazda 121 before they lost the plot by adding a. Lovely. The book is* in mint condition. The cover, however, was sticky. I don't know what was over it, but it was just sticky. There was no problem cleaning it, the cover had a hologram plastic so I wiped it off (very lightly) with some acetone and finished it with a baby wipe. It's not 100% off, but it's still nonetheless perfect. I love the book. I'm learning so much from it! I'm glad I got it. Thank you!
