If you have read at least two books of George Box, you will like this book.First, I believe that the most interesting part of the book is when he describes how he met all his friends (and also famous statisticians), and the good relation that he had with all of them. In addition, it's very exciting to read about the adventures that Dr Box had with Stu Hunter, Dr Cox, Dr Benkhen, Gwilym Jenkins, George Banard, among others; and how they started to wo. An inspiring autobiography David W Bacon This is a very human and entertaining autobiography of a world leader in the development and application of statistical methods. The book includes many messages, of which perhaps the most important is the need for a statistician to be a team player, not a mathematical prima donna. George Box inspired many people during his long and distinguished career and this book demonstrates why so many regard him as a giant in his field. A wonderful read.
