I have found that if you can find multiple manuals, they typically give you better overall vehicle coverage. In this case, I don't think VW wrote a manual so this is what's available.. This book was written for the shop mechanic who works for the car dealer and who can't afford to go wrong because the work they do is insured--This book is much better than the cheaper varietys sold at auto parts stores. Highly recomended.
