Extremely useful book THIS is the book I was looking for when I set out to study period Victorian interiors. 99% of the photos in this book were taken in house museums and/or meticulously restored (i.e. accurate) Victorian interiors. There are a few photos of contemporary takes on Victorian interiors too. Don't let that - or the 1986 copyright - scare you. None of the photos in. s. f. said My favorite book on the Victorian style. I have several books on Victorian architecture and Victorian style. This is by far my favorite one. The photos are stunning and contain so many ideas and color schemes. And there are plenty of them.
