DESCRIPTION:
Too Basic Wade Thruitt I've read several books written by truckers. I'm a truck driving student and information junkie. This book is way, way overpriced! It is more like "trucking for dummies" written for those with zero knowledge about the trucking industry. I'd recommend Melissa Grube or Harry Gorge books. Both are much more informative and will take you inside the life of a trucker. I'd pay about .99 for this book to feel like it was a value.. "Four Stars" according to tracey2travel. Good book for anyone interested in becoming a truck driver
In addition, all drivers will benefit from the safe driving techniques mentioned in Truck Driving. Truck driving is mainly a learn-as-you-go career full of possible pitfalls and disappointments as you make mistakes trying to learn the ropes. Truck driving schools train how to drive the truck but do not explain the day to day life of a truck driver. Truck Driving is designed to provide a road map for new truck drivers to help them navigate these trouble areas and more quickly enjoy the rewarding parts of driving. Anyone who has thought of becoming a truck driver or has an interest in learning more about the profession of truck driving will find Truck Driving extremely helpful and interesting.. Truck driving as a career is a choice many people make to travel the United States and Canada
