emma said thunder. This work feels like a modern day Flannery O'Conner story. I started reading it at noon and finished around 5 I could have put it down, taken a break, taken a day but I did not want to. It was well written, easy to read and entertaining complete with a plot, a message and a sock in the gut. What more could a person ask for. I look forward to reading her next book, although it may take a few days to process this one. I recommend this to anyone looking for a book to read, straight or gay and appreciate the message it has to offer on all the levels. Thought provoking and powerful. I gave 5 stars not because it is a WAR AND P.
