Well written and informative - everyone should have a copy I recently read Dr. Heather Tick's book on Holistic Pain Relief and wanted to share my enthusiasm. First of all, the book is easy to understand. It is full of concise but extremely helpful information on the full spectrum of pain relief, both mental and physical, from traditional to her very successful holistic methods and therapies. It gives a rundown on all vitamins, minerals, hormones, toxins, nutrition, exercise and more. I love her way of dealing with each person's pain as individual. Prescriptions and suggestions take into. "Help for Chronic Pain and Inflamation" according to Snvtc 1978. Was a skeptic at beginning but I needed help, I have degenerative disc disease and recently had back surgery #5 to fuse L2-S1. My Doc highly recommended I read and with his help come up with alternative ways to help with my pain and inflamation because the standard pain medicines will not work for me. After reading I learned a lot about nutrition, herbs and vitamins and the effect they can have on a person's system. After reading and guidance by my Doc, I opted to try eliminating nightshade, sugar and splenda, etc from my diet. .
