Great for beginner soap makers. I felt the need to leave a review since this book hasn't gotten more love. Much like the author, I'm a person who has been sensitized to harsh detergents and chemicals and have to make my own soap etc.My cousin bought this book for my birthday, and I'm so sad that I didn't have this sooner--it would have saved me a lot of time, money, and trouble.My advice: Turn to the end of the book first. Read through all of her tips about how NOT to make a bad batch of . "Soap Book" according to C. Close-Bunting. Haven't tried any of the recipes yet but I look forward to doing so. Most seem attainable, even for a novice like me. We'll me!
