This book is brilliant ! Some weeks ago I started to read « Alcohol lied to me », not during the day but during the late evening hours before going to sleep. Very quickly I realized how easily this book can be read, also by someone who’s English isn’t his first language (I. "Alcohol had indeed lied to me." according to Michael Martin. I read Mr. Beck's book about a year and a half ago because after many years of drinking I felt that I had crossed a very dangerous line.
