Beth said Not a coloring book. I'm not sure i'd say this is a coloring book. The pictures have so many dark areas that you just can't "color". If you were an experienced painter then yes, this book is for you. The pictures are beautiful and I do like them but with all the dark shading and dark areas you just will not be able to use color pencils and get the results you are after. Honestly, if Amazon did a better job with showing "what's inside" I wouldn't have purchased this book where shipping was. Charlene Hibbard said Brother's Gift. I thought it looked like a good book.
