I like the small town setting, with its almost ordinary day-to-day atmosphere, the interaction and dialogue among the characters. The characters including the supporting ones are your ordinary Joes but that is where the attractiveness of the story lies. Jared and Matt are both likable and credible. I enjoy the well paced development of their relationship from friendship, undeniable attraction, to love and commitment. And sex is kept to the right balance (Thank You). The writer has also done a wonderful job "gro. I keep reading this one. The plot is simple, and very realistic. I love these characters and his they help each other name and face their fears. They Work through problems and become Better people for it, as well as a better couple. The family's are integral to the plot and who they are. I'm sir I will read this again.. "Great, Quick Read." according to V Heartstring (Atlas Deen). I love it. Read it twice now. It is not Straight For You, like some people suggest, it is actually "I've lived a straight life cus of self-hatred, but have always liked guys and denied it, but you are so wonderful that I will embrace the gay!" I recommend it!
Until Matt Richards walks into his life, that is. Matt claims he is straight, but for Jared, having a sexy friend like Matt is way too tempting. Matt has just been hired by the Coda Police Department, and he and Jared immediately become friends. Part of the Coda Series Jared Thomas has lived his whole life in the small mountain town of Coda, Colorado.
