A Very Brave Captain John A. Gilliland I really couldn't put this book down once I started reading it. The narrative is fast paced with no lulls in the action. I never realized the wide variety of environmental work GP took part in. One of the more heart-rending accounts, was the wholesale evacuation of a Marshall Islanders village from one atoll to another. The Islanders were exposed to nuclear radiation from US testing, and were having a myriad of physical problem. Swashbuckling and Inspiring E. A. L. Willcox Fantastic book! Exciting, educational, and fascinating all at once.. Must read Courageous, dedicated, driven, are small words for the measure of this man.
