"A good book for any VFR pilot using GPS" according to Doug Loose. An excellent introduction on the fundamentals of GPS and a practical guide on using GPS for VFR cross-country navigation. I found it easy to read and understand with just the right amount of technical information included. This book is not a replacement for the manufacturer's users manual, but certainly a good supplement. As an active CFI, I will definitely recommend it to my students who want to fully utilize GPS for VFR cross-country navigation.
