A somewhat different approach that stimulated thought!. Building a Dune Buggy: The Essential Manual Somes chapters of book aren`t focused in specifics dune buggy matters, but general car matters, like tools, safety and brakes. The best part is the chapter chassis shortening methods, very detailed; I felt a lack of information about the dune buggy body, like a shell plan or a path to build it, but if you don`t known anything about buggy building, this book can be a good start.. "Too Euro-centered" according to Trauma. This would be a fine book for building a traditional Buggy in Europe, a large part of the book is concerned with sourcing parts in England. Here in the Northwest USA, building a traditional 70's style buggy is still within the reach of the average Joe. Parts can be scrounged, swapped, or made if you're building like Bruce Meyers did. And the more advanced 21st century buggies made to run hard and race offroad are barely mentioned.
