Five Stars I enjoy this series of Nouwens writings.. "Brilliant book about caregiving!" according to RobS. best book I've ever read about caregiving, for once it deals with things from both the carer and caree perspectives! well worth the read!. Just what was needed. I bought this for a friend who is overloaded with several aspects of caregiving. Her words were, "It will be with me wherever I go."
Henri Nouwen was born in Holland in 1932 and ordained a Catholic priest in 1957. He obtained a doctoral degree in psychology from Nijmegen University in the Netherlands and taught at Notre Dame, Yale, and Harvard.
