Oh, and there's that minor detail about his undeniable attraction to his smoking hot campaign manager. Under an election's microscope, a politician whose marriage is over and his campaign manager can only keep their smoking hot love affair a secret for so longAnthony Hunter wonders what the hell he's gotten himself into when he agrees to manage an unproven candidate's campaign for governor of California. And this is one scandal a campaign won't survive
"She did it again!!!!!" according to Sunne. Ah - I'm floored - a great book again. L.A. Witt is one of my most favorite gay romance writer because she can make me feel every emotion of her characters.Honestly - I was sceptical this time because an election campaign as main story is not my cup of tea. But really - does it matter? This book vibrates, lives, breathes emotions, pent-up tension, frustration, worry, love and caring. Not only between the two male characters but wi. Something Political I am NOT sick of =) DiDi - Guilty Pleasures BR 4.5 StarsHoly hell, when I asked to review this book by L.A. Witt I knew it was centered on a gubernatorial campaign. I knew it was a M/M story and I knew one of the men was currently married. But, I had no idea I would be blown away yet again by this author. Although I am personally SICK of political coverage, rhetoric, and mudslinging this was written by L.A. Witt and I had just recently read another book of hers for review and . A feel good book :) First I have to say I L.A. Witt. This is not my first book from her, nor will it be my last. I enjoyed reading this book and the story between Anthony and Jesse was sweet. I really felt bad for Jesse's wife Simone and everything she went through. There was also the situation his brother Chris was in that just made my heart sad. I really did feel for all the characters in the book. The book was a witty and charming read.
Witt or Ann Gallagher. Neither of those twits can keep their mouths shut . She also has substantially more time on her hands these days, as she has recruited a small army of mercenaries to search South America for her nemesis, romance author Lauren Gallagher, but don't tell Lauren. About the Author L.A. Witt is an abnormal M/M romance writer who has finally been released from the purgatorial corn maze of Omaha, Nebraska, and now spends her time on the southwestern coast of Spain. In between wondering how she didn't lose her mind in Omaha, she explores the country with her husband, several clairvoyant hamsters, and an ever-growing herd of rabid plot bunnies. And definitely don't tell Lori A
