"not worth it" according to C. Richards. I purchased this book hoping to have a good reference volume for the water systems on my sailboat. This book is not it. Its kind of like an outline for what such a book would look like if an author took the time to actually write it. There is a paucity of useful diagrams, most pages in the book don't even fill the entire page. Over half of the pages don't have any written or printed material on more that half a page. This is enough material in this book to complete a. "NOTHING NEW OR INSITEFUL" according to D. CHRISTIANSON. I am restoring an older boat and wanted to gain more knowledge about water and waste systems. You can waste a lot of money on a boat and this book is a good example. Small,100 page (most of them half blank) paperback that contains nothing that you can't find easily online. Holding tanks - "The biggest issue for boaters is selecting the right sized tank". Duh. He does not offer any guide as to the size of tank for a certain no. of people etc. I am so upset that I wast. S. A. Turner said Basic book, not helpful. Just covers a basic explaination of marine plumbing. Was expecting more details and explaination of system variations, troubleshooting/problem solving, etc. I wouldn't waste your $.
