Now Rooney has collected the funniest, wisest, and most interesting of his letters, spanning several decades and addressing issues both momentous and trivial. Sincerely Andy Rooney 1susanfan Andy Rooney's writings are usually well worth reading. The letters certainly were, and very enjoyable. However, I was more than shocked and offended by Mr.Rooney's attack of religion. This is one of his books I wished I had skipped.. "A Book of Correspondence from America's Favorite Curmudgeon" according to Michael K. Beusch. Andy Rooney is America's Grouch. He's a brilliant writer, humorist and commentator who has experienced just about everything and has little time to suffer fools gladly. Many of the letters in this book involve Rooney's response to criticism or undue demands of his time with his acid wit. It's clear that
