This is one of the best books I've ever read because it is one of the most insightful readings of God's love for us that anyone could ever read. In writing to a friend, I actually quoted from this book. The format makes for extremely easy reading in that the chapters are short and they are all followed by brief captions or "gems of wisdom" the author wants to impart about that chapter. Then the caption is followed by a moving and heartfelt praye. "Encouraging!" according to Michelle T. Brown. Stanice's courage in sharing her story in "I Say A Prayer For Me" was awe-inspiring! So many of us recovering from addiction hide our light under a bushel basket, but Stanice has shined like a beacon to show that we do recover, and we do go on to be everything that our Higher Power has purposed us by design to be.
