We all know someone, don't we? I choose this book because I have intimate knowledge of one of the Mother's and her child's struggle. Another acquaintance of mine confided her child's struggle to me and I bought the book for her. I've read the book twice myself because the Mother's courage brings tears to my eyes.. Insightful and well-written Scott The authors bring experience and compassion to a very difficult subject, and do it in a way that is very accessible, not clinical. Great read for anyone who has struggled with addiction.
