I personally aligned with several of these poems and it was humbling to know that my thoughts are not singular but mutually shared with others. All in all, a great batch of material, waiting to be analyzed and digested by the avid mind.
While not perfect in its literary style, "Hell in a Basket" is a small tome of confessional poetry that gives an interesting insight of how the author felt in each entry. This small juxtaposition of collected poetry details the pain, anxiety, and other oddities that have circulated the life of its author. Matthew Little, born 1991, resides in Fairhaven, Massachusetts, where currently he is hard at work trying his best to live out his dream of being a writer and poet, an aspiration he's dreamed of since his discovery of the medium while in middle school.
