Great book lala Its rather expensive, but you get what you pay for Overall a very good book. Its a practical, applied engineering text, rather than a physics text book. The book starts out with existing rocket hardware, and then makes rational expansions into rocket based combined cycles and air breathing scramjets. It moves on to various applications of nuclear rocketry (both thermal and electric) and ends with a discussion of various fusion propulsion concepts. There isn't much speculation on esoteric physics such as wormholes - just applied engineering based o. the best volume on its topic, but could use more treatment of the basal physics Michael C. Walker Without any doubt, the best book on its topic, yet lacking only in the sense that despite its great length, it's still not quite long enough and doesn't go into as much detail as it could. This will probably be the only volume of its nature on its topic for quite some time: you're not going to have a lot of people writing about this area of technology—just not gonna happen—so this book has to really be and do everything.
