Not only was spying on fellow Americans a part of the job, but also German counterparts as well.. This book is based on fact. This is anything but that! The soldier in question was introduced into a world of sex, drugs, and police work that dealt with gun-running, drug smuggling, and Neo-Nazi militant organizations. The young soldier was forced to work for Military Intelligence. So don't expect the same old boring story that most Military Intelligence books have to offer
winner avid reader I didn't really expect to be caught up in story about some guy's experience in the army,but I read a lot and thought I'd give it try. I was captivated by the story from the beginning. It is a rare glimpse into how some soldiers still get over in the service. A great ending and I hope it is true. Try it you'll like it.. "Great book." according to Justin. Umm is this really a true story?? I do not believe it is, because he would have not wrote this if it was. He would probably be arrested for writing this book and telling what he did. Besides that, one heck of a book. You will not regret buying this book. man it was good! :). Carrie Totten said BEST SHORT STORY EVER. I am not a reader, and do not usually enjoy it. This book was simply to good to put down. I read the book in two days. Then I did some research on single Battalion posts in West Germany in the 80's and found a few. I checked a few other facts and I believe that every word of this tale is true. If you want to read a great book, than order this one. It was absolutely awesome.
